Knowledge and Regulatory Support
CSRC publishes and convenes around the operating realities of Ethiopian civil society, especially for newly formed and emerging organisations that need practical help navigating registration, management, reporting, and legal change.
Guides, webinars, and practical tools for operating as a CSO.
Public CSRC-hosted documents include a users manual on registering, managing, and reporting on emerging CSOs in Ethiopia and a webinar proceedings report on civil society responses to COVID-19 and its operational impacts.
The centre has also surfaced need assessment work on newly formed and emerging CSOs, showing that the knowledge-hub function is not just publishing, but also diagnosis and ecosystem listening.
This is one of the clearest places where CSRC differs from a typical NGO site: the organisation is expected to be useful, not just visible.
